Product Recall: ‘Glass Electric Kettle’

We would like to ask you to please stop using the ‘Glass Electric Kettle’ and return it to us or send it to us via mail.

You will of course receive a full refund of the purchase price.

Although the product underwent extensive in-house and third party safety testing and was GS certified by the accredited INTERTEK laboratory, we cannot rule out that material fatigue may occur in some appliances when used over a long period of time. Part of the handle may detach itself from the appliance and under unfortunate circumstances, scalding can result.

Based on our strict quality standards and ongoing evaluation of customer feedback, we have therefore decided to recall the glass electric kettle.

You may either return the appliance to one of our Tchibo Shops or mail it to us freight collect (i.e. we pay the postage).
